A Look Back at Our Vegan Sightseeing Tour of Sydney

March 2026

Our recent Sydney Vegan Sightseeing Tour was a opportunity to explore one of the world’s most beautiful harbour cities while enjoying plant-based dining along the way.

Over five days we experienced many of Sydney’s iconic sights, with plenty of good food and good company throughout the journey.

Our first evening set the tone, with dinner overlooking Sydney harbour, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. During the following days we explored different parts of the city, spending time at Bondi Beach, visiting Watsons Bay and South Head for harbour views, and walking through the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

We visited the Art Gallery of New South Wales, where we joined a guided tour of the Yiribana Indigenous art collection before lunch overlooking the gardens. Later that day we saw the city from the water on a harbour cruise, a relaxing way to take in Sydney’s famous skyline and its many bays and coves.

A highlight of the tour was our day trip to the Blue Mountains, where we flew over the dramatic cliffs and valleys in a cable car and walked through the rainforest on the valley floor. Back in the city, we then enjoyed a guided walk through The Rocks, wandering its historic laneways and learning about the early days of Sydney.

Food remained an important part of the experience throughout the tour. From creative restaurant meals to a fancy vegan high tea overlooking the harbour, we enjoyed a range of vegan dining that showcased Sydney’s plant-based food scene. As always, the shared meals, walks and conversations helped turn a group of travellers into a group of friends by the end of the journey.
